Shop Your Stash #3

Hey All,

Another post in one week I am on a roll this week. So it's that time of the month again time for me to pick up my basket ...if only it was like the kind from the Chanel Supermarket... where was I Oh yes! its time to shop my stash.

Not familiar with the Shop Your Stash challenge click HERE to view past post explaining what it is and how it works.

Search the Hashtag in Twitter #shopyourstash to find other Participants, links to their blogs will also be posted at the bottom.

So I'm becoming reconnected with jeans again and these caught my eye from ASOS. Having only worn these once before I thought what could I  do for future styling using items already in my wardrobe.

For this Outfit capture I was concentrating on the base of an outfit and the three main statement pieces that could be styled in a multiple of ways. These Patch jeans are perfect retro feel, high waisted to so perfect for wearing a crop top. You could even personalise with more badges or patches. Long statement Gold chain and these bright red flatforms.

This could be styled up with the on trend mesh or netted tee. Cropped tee or off the shoulder Bodysuit. The possibilities are endless.

I Have my eye on the matching shorts perfect for the upcoming holiday.

Vintage Love Affair

Hey All,

Absolutely loving the summer weather we've been having, hope you are all soaking up the sun.

My love affair with vintage fashion has me thinking about pushing my fashion boundaries to styles that I usually avoid wearing. Trends such as the full midi skirt has me tempted to explore the retro age particularly the 50's seeing other bloggers achieve this with pure perfection, this look has me wondering how I can add my own twist to my usual look. Hmmmm.....

So I was recently emailed by ModCloth can you say coincidence with my recent musings. Don't know who Modcloth is? Well they offer indie clothing in a vast range of sizes, accessories and decor. Worn by some of my favourite bloggers like GabiFresh who 1st introduced me to this brand through her blog.

I was asked to take part in their weekly Polyvore challenge styling the I Ladylike It Like That Dress.I usually I do not wear floral all over but I must say I do like this particular dress it reminds me of something from a romance novel floaty and light, all I need now is a field. What I love most about this dress is its versatility. This dress could easily be layered on top a shirt or underneath a oversized jumper adding the perfect feminine touch. Like this dress I can assure you there is plenty more I wanted to style click HERE to view more.

Taking this as inspiration for my outfit I channelled a little me into this look. Accessories are always key for my outfits. Selecting a statement necklace which you will usually find me sporting day to day. I loved this chain linked one as it was modern I could easily see this transferred to other looks within my wardrobe. A backpack, my addiction with backpacks has grown over the past months and this faux leather backpack has gone right to the top of my want list. It's the perfect pastel accessory that is missing within my wardrobe.

Picking out tones and highlights from the dress I also selected this gem ring and these beautiful mint heels if this was a ootd I would certainly add a pair of white netted ankle socks. To finish this look I added a wide brim hat and shades for that extra touch of hollywood glamour. An extra accessory that also would be added that is a must XL gold hoops though not featured here would definitely add a little more me into the mix I like to make a statement from head to toe.

Hope you like it :) How would you style this dress?

Vintage & Graffiti

Hey All,

Hope your all enjoying the glorious sun and heat we have been having, i certainly have been even wore black to soak up the extra rays cannot miss a chance for heat. Its in my blood loving heat so much. So I took a trip to Brick Lane yesterday to do my favourite thing..... Vintage shopping, I love it being a 90's baby I love any clothes and style from that era, another bonus is taking something old and a chance to refresh and renew adding a new spin to old long forgotten garments.

So those who keep update with this blog or know me in person know I never wear jeans ever, but I have a recent love affair with them after finding these at Blitz London Vintage store. These Levi's are the perfect acid wash love them so much. I paired with this ASOS crop top channelling 90's spirit I layered this ID chocker and long cross. Adding my Monki sleeveless oversized Pu  Jacket just to play with layers. As a Beanie hoarder and lover I had to throw on my Blood Brothers Beanie. This Beauty of a Bag is from New Look you have probably seen lots of bloggers styling it i just love it, must collect more colours.

Now for my favourite part of my whole outfit my lips. Recently I have been experimenting with Lip colours so see plenty of Lipstick shades and Lipgloss also. So back to the lips This Colourchase Cosmetics High Shine Glam Gloss which I picked up before its official release this summer at my recent outing to Afro Hair and Beauty Show with fellow blogger Louise over at her blog LAM.

The Pictures do not do this lipgloss justice the colour pigment is so much richer and brighter in real life and intact is the same tone as beanie. Though I am not a make up expert or beauty blogger what I  look for in a good lipgloss is long lasting shine. I must say this does both in colour and shine, only needing a few top up here and there to keep the colour bright and strong. I have my eye on the blue one which I saw but unfortunately I have to wait for it to be released *Sigh*.

Draped in Leather

Hey All,

Long time no speak. So I've been a busy little Bee packing up for the move back to Brumtown for the summer. So as its Throwback Thursday I thought I would bring out an outfit that never made it to the blog first time round. I loved this coat from H&M, it got me through the cold winter. As it was warming up I slung it over the shoulder for a casual look. This beautiful draped dress was picked up at a bargain from Ebay, if I told you the price your mouth would hit the floor. My favourite shot was the second one talk about a perfect moment I felt like a movie star the way my hair was blowing in the wind.

This was just a quicker but I'm off on my Hols end of Aug so look out for Purchase snaps and Outfits and new location shots. Until next time folks :D
